Independent software for actual humans

We make things without making people the product.

We make useful, joyful tools with clear terms and no tricks. Some are free, some are paid; either way, you’ll know the deal.

Built with care.
Released with trust.

Why we exist

The internet has enough software designed to extract.

Enough products that harvest attention, profile behavior, manufacture anxiety, and call it engagement. We are building in the opposite direction.

Builder of Things Studio makes software because making good things is joyful—and because people deserve technology that is simply on their side.

We have no investors demanding growth at any cost, no advertising machine to feed, and no interest in turning a person’s private life into inventory. We measure success in usefulness, delight, and trust.

People are not the product. Privacy is not a luxury. Free is not bait.

What free means here

Free should not come with a hidden bill.

“Free” shouldn’t mean someone quietly pays with their attention, privacy, anxiety, or dignity.

Starhop offers play for its own sake. Flashbulb offers silliness without turning a face into data inventory. Nightfall offers curiosity and wonder without monetizing it. Different products, same promise.

The deal

No fine print.

01

Joy without hooks

No addiction loops or manufactured urgency.

02

Private by default

Collect less. Never sell personal data.

03

Free means free

No ads, hidden tolls, or attention tax.

04

People come first

Make the product fit people—not the other way around.

Things we are building

Things we wanted to exist, so we built them.
